Fireworks of my own
Last night was the 4th of July. We had a great view of the fireworks from the front of our house and we should have had a party. But it was the two of us and then came a strange big yellow dog just before they started. It jumped on the hood of our car. It tried to get in the house and created havoc. I should have just let it be but I let it get to me. I yelled obsentities (been watching Deadwood too much)and became very frustrated that this dog would just not leave. And now it seems so stupid. Even though I was tired and I just wanted to sit and watch the show and not worry about this dog--who was jumping on our car. In hindsight it probably does this for attention at home. It sure got mine. Even reading this makes me feel silly for letting something so small upset me. Why is it that in life that sometimes you let things control your emotions? This could have been a humrous situation instead of a stressful drama of my own creation. I failed this test and took myself and life way to seriously.

Yep. That can happen.
I read several of your entries, and find that you give tours of Carlsbad. WOW. I love that place. I live in PA. Three years ago, or maybe just two, my husband and I were there. The caves are awesome. How exciting to be there all the time.
i'm scared of dogs so i know it would have bothered me. it basically just ruined your moment. i can understand. i mean 4th of july only comes by once.
don't let it bother you, makes you human. i am controlled my emotions far to many times :)
I think I do that more than I let on. The next time, you'll remember this incident, and ask whether you want to fight it or let it be.
