Checks and Balances. What Happened to Them?

A White House staff person outs a the name of an undercover CIA agent. Most likely it was Karl Rove who leaked this information.

Head of FEMA Michael Brown got the job because he was the roomate of the former director. He was president of the Arabian Horse Association and any other resume attributes were made up. For example, his resume states that he was an Associate Professor. The University states that he was just a student there. He claimed he was the Assistant City Manager and the City states he was an Intern. How can this person become head of FEMA. Who vetted this man?

Pat Roberts 700 club/operation blessing listed as one of the top 3 charietes to donate to for Katrina victims. 1) Operation Blessing has a few mobil kitchens in Mississippi and is restocking Salvation Army stations (who were not mentioned in the top 3). That is All. 2) Pat Roberts used Operation Belssing funds in 1997 that were to aid starvation victims in Rawanda, to air lift mining parts for a diamond mine that he had part interest in instead of FOOD. He was found guilty and had to pay the money back but served not jail time.

So many examples--just can't stand it.

Sorry for the rant

Those in power help those who would help keep them in power.

Power and money is all they care for.

Never thought things could be this openly bad in a country like the US. Always had the notion that it happened only in places like my home country India.

What a neat blog. Bats?!?!?!

I visited Carlsbad New Mexico, went inside the bat cave. And at a certain time they all flew out of the cave. Very neat.
