Beautiful! I love the meandering quilting you've done to match the fabric.

I have been quilting more and more and enjoying it. I am trying my first freehand doll size quilt and it is challenging. More to come....

Not too bad for your first quilt! I like the pattern and the fabrics you chose--very nice.
Glad you stopped by my blog this evening--it's always nice to meet new people!

Thanks for dropping by my blog and saying hi. Your first quilt looks great.

If you want to make a lasting impression on a little child's life, make them a baby quilt. It doesn't have to be fancy. My niece has had her quilt with her all over the world. My son who is now 34 has his in a shadowbox with a picture of him and the quilt.

My sister and her church used to make baby quilts and once a year give them to the local police deprtment. They would put them in their squad cars and use them if children are being taken from the home, or for whatever reason they needed to use them.

Thank you. I am just learning. I have made a few baby quilts but never a doll quilt before.

Now, I am no quilt expert, but I do love the one that a friend made for one of my daughters. And yours is beautiful!

Nice - and looks like it would be a meditative, calming sort of thing to do.
