Canyon
We arrived the day before yesterday. We had a wonderful trip to Germany and loved every min of it. Now it is time to settle in our new temporary home. We have an apartment about 10 minutes from the South Rim of the Canyon. It is set up really nice here. There is even a great playground. Mules, horses, trains etc I think enough to keep us busy for the summer.

Wow! You'll have to keep me busy looking at all the photos you'll post this summer . . .
Beautiful! What is that statistic, is it that people only spend 20 minutes at the grand canyon on average? Something like that. What a waste of a trip!
I haven't been there yet so will have to live vicariously through your photos.

Yes, I heard this something like 80%... I will check into this and let you know. The North rim is supposed to be spectacular as well. We should make it out there as well. Most people never go there.
