4th of July--3rd Best

Evanston claims to have the 3rd best 4th of July parade in the USA.  It was pretty good but we saw some interesting stuff....the last shot is of a firework and is the mascot for the parade. Go figure.  Happy 4th!

Happy summertime! Glad you were able to see a parade. We were able to see the fireworks from the comfort of my cousin's backyard.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and commenting! I love new visitors. Looks like you had a great weekend. What are the first and second best parades, I wonder?!

That was a great parade! The last shot was a firecracker? Hmmmm.....

I am glad you labelled that last one a firecracker....

Great photos of what looked like a fun day.

Thanks for visiting my blog. The tent is long gone so I have no idea how it was erected.

When I think of Evanston, parades are not one of the things that comes to mind.

Have you had any good pizza yet?

I agree if someone had not told me it was a firecracker I would have thought it quite rude for a parade for kids!

Great pictures! Love the one of the old-fashioned bicycles. Your town looks so quaint.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Can I ask, what is that mascot supposed to be? I'm too scared to ask...
