This eat local thing seems to be taking off!

I am reading Kingsolver's new book Animal Vegetable Miracle Year Food. And it seems so are a few friends as well.

Somehow from all of this I am getting the notion that I can now make my own cheese. My friend Amy says its great. Others claimed you will never go back. So I am ordering the kit today and will make some mozzarella !

okay you do not need to be a housewife but an interested cook. Really until I moved out to the middle of nowhere I am not sure I would undertake making such a thing. But the lack of anything like this here in Carlsbad has forced me to learn to make a lot of things.
