So far 4 days and now they are sleeping in a big heap together. The duck now flys around and trys to act like a chicken. He/she honks loudly whenever we come and go--lime is friendly in that you can pick her up and she loves uncooked oatmeal. The chickens love peaches and sweet potatoes. We havde been having problems teaching our chickens to roost-- I think we tried to teach them too late. We still need to make the nesting boxes so I hope they will learn to lay eggs there and not in a big heap.
Today big day underground--I am learning all the routes and getting better at explaining the chemestry. I am still tripping out that this is what I am now doing for a living.
