Monsoon Season

It is so green here for the desert the monsoons have started and not the desert is blooming again. The chickens are laying eggs like crazy 10 a days now. We cannot sell enough! It appears that Lime may be a girl--no eggs yet but I have sneaky suspicion. From the porch we can see the sheets of rain as the approach. It truly is amazing and we are only getting 2-3 inches at a time. I cannot imagine what it must be like in India with 10 or more at a time.

Rains, though all India wise they were good this year and the farmers depend on them a lot. But in my city there were at the best three to four good downpours and that is it!

How are you keeping health wise?

this was such a cute post, loved reading about the rains and the chickens. its wonderful to watch the rain frm the porch.
india is so huge, some places get many inches of rainfall and then there are some which get very scanty rainfall. we have deserets, swamps and mountains and valleys. it really is amazing! god! if i go on, it will sound like i am giving a geography lesson. toodles. :)

Mridula--

Doing well. I am lucky to have little or no morning sickness and now starting the 12th week so I am free of that worry. Just the Amnio that is up and coming and that is scary.

Gulanz--I have been to India once and we were mainly in the south Kerela and in Karnataka state at the base of the western Ghats. It was really pretty. I really enjoyed Halebid and Belur. I did not know about deserts though--is that north? Where do you live?

We Californians complain about too much rain as an inconvenience, when we really no nothing about "flooding".

How are you?
