It struk me and I still think about it..

You have only this second to be happy! I mean right now.. now... now..

You have control of your happiness and we are always choosing how we are going to feel right now. -Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Last night a friend, my husband and I were discussing this, I mean it is such a simple idea but so hard to put in place or think about when things are difficult. Or like my firend said, what if you are in prision? But I do think that this simple concept is possible. May require alot of meditation.

What do you think?

Hi Pecos!!

Really complicating question..but i think everyone, even the deaf or blind, disabled or paralyzed person has their happy moments...maybe physically not,but mentally,if they pray, meditate, and ought for it...

maybe its easy to say for us coz we`re not in the same situation, but we sure know that we could have a joyous soul.. :)

thanx for dropping by at my photo blog,Pecos..I couldnt update it these days coz I am soo busy but you could see me here at my other blog.

I think that there are exceptions to every generalization. (Uh... except this one...)

So simple. How is it we forget it so often?

I guess it is possible. Through meditation, will power on simply if one chooses to concentrate on things that really matter. Controlling feelings and trying to only emphasize the positive ones is quite hard to accomplish.

As for being in prison, I guess one has a lot of time to think about everything. I guess it depends on how you choose to spend that time and on what your position is within the rest of the inmates. If you get beaten every day, that it is a bit hard to feel happy whenever you want to.
